The Star Inn is a very historic country pub that dates back to 1348 and was originally built as a masons cottage for the church. It comprises of two bars with an open fire and an upstairs restaurant and garden with stunning views of the countryside that were captured by the renowned artist, Turner. Real ales are Harveys Best, Harveys Old and Weltons Old Harry. The Star also has a good reputation for its goumet/gastro style pub food which is all home made and served every session.
