It is renowned for its excellent real ales and there is an annual beer festival here August bank holiday weekends. Real ales are Harveys Best and 2 ever changing guest ales. Traditional home cooked food is served 12-9 pm Mo, Th, Fr, Sa & Tu, Su 12-6 (no food Wed). Menu includes curry night first Friday of month, fish, burgers and home made specials.
