This traditional family run town centre freehouse was originally the old town bakery and comprises of a huge open plan bar, authentic round table, no-smoking area, and a front heated patio area. Real ales are Harveys Best, Harveys Seasonal and Kings (all Sussex ales). Food is served 12-230 6-930 Monday-Friday and 12-Late Saturday & Sunday with a varied menu that includes fresh fish direct from Newhaven, traditional roast beef, home made pies, steaks, starters, vegetarian dishes, childrens menu, salads, pasta, daily specials and a Sunday roast.
