| The Marlipins High Street, Shoreham-By-Sea (01273) 453369 This attractive traditional 16th century olde worlde pub is full of character. It is situated next to the historic Marlipins museum and is one of the oldest pubs in Shoreham. It comprises a cozy main bar with open fire, conservatory restaurant and a courtyard garden. There is an external covered and heated smoking area. It is dog friendly and families are welcome in the conservatory. Real ales are Fullers London Pride, Harveys, Youngs and guest ales including Sharps Doombar, Shepherd Neame Spitfire and Wadworth 6X. Delicious home cooked food is served 10-2 & 6-10 Monday-Saturday and 12-4 Sunday. There is a varied menu to choose from including daily roasts (4 to choose from on Sunday and said to be the best roasts in town), credit-crunch special offers, locally made pizzas served every evening and breakfast served 10-12 daily along with daily chalk-board specials. The 3-2-1 credit crunch menu offers 1 course 5.50 - roast of the day or selected main dishes, 2 course 6.95 - as before except with soup or pud and 3 course 7.95- all of the previous.
