This friendly family-run traditional country village pub has now reverted back to its former name. It is said to be the friendliest pub in Henfield and is ideally situated for walkers and cyclists being just off South Downs Way. It comprises a lounge, games room, dining room and large beer garden with aviary and heated/ illuminated smoking shelter. Families and dogs are welcome. Real ales are Harveys and two guest ales that regularly change. Traditional home cooked food is served Tuesday-Sunday lunchtimes & Tuesday-Saturday evenings. Fresh fish is one of the specialities along with The Big Cat grill, daily specials, vegetarian dishes, daily specials and a Sunday roast. All food is localy sourced wherever possible. Pub games are pool and darts. Quarterly live music/karaoke. Quiz night Thursday.
