Delightful inn situated in historic Battle. It has recently changed ownership and now comprises a spacious bar/dining area with 2 open fires including an inglenook. Part of the stonework was originally from Battle Abbey. There is an attractive courtyard garden. Real ales are Harvey's and a guest ale. Food is served 12-3 daily using locally sourced produce and includes home made soups, pies. quiches, specials and a sunday roast (bookings welcome). B&B with 5 en-suite rooms. Open for morning coffee and home made cakes.
