Traditional family run 300 year old village pub ideally situated for walkers and ramblers. It is now under new ownership and comprises 2 bars with open fires, beams and local memorabilia, 40 cover restaurant and a garden. Real ales are Harveys, Greene King IPA and a guest ale. Good home cooked food is served M-F lunch and evening and includes home made burgers, beer battered cod, steak & ale pie, daily specials, vegetarian dishes and a Sunday roast. Folk club tuesday.
